BREEDING DOGS IS NOT A BUSINESS TO US.

It is a passion and labor of love.

18 years ago LuAnn rescued a baby ShihTzu boy from Arizona.

5 weeks old and deathly sick, LuAnn nursed it back to health.

To weak to eat, it had to be force fed a nutritional paste, the consistancy of glue

which made a mess and stuck all over his face and beard.

When he recovered, there was no way that LuAnn was going to part with him.

So, he was appropriately named 'Messy Marvin.'

He became the love of our lives

and spent the next 18 years in our lives and in our bed.

Whenever it became time to buy a new car, he came along and had to approve the ride.
When the car dealer saw us coming, he would just hand us the keys for a Messy test run.
He would ride on the center console if he liked it. If not he would go in the back and we wouldn't buy that car.
Messy went everywhere LuAnn went (airplanes and all).

He ruled the house. Our Danes always had to ask his permission to come upstairs.

Never growling, never mean, or tough acting, He would just stand at the top of the stairs & look down at them.
If his look said "no", they said "OK no problem". They all respected him.

He left us a short while ago and although our lives have a big hole it in,

he will always be with us,

through his children, grandchildren, great & great great grandchildren.

He left us with a passion for this wonderful breed.

As big dog lovers & breeders,

our hearts have been filled with love for these little guys.

Hearty & healthy, they do not act like little dogs.

They are best described as

"BIG DOGS IN A LITTLE PACKAGE."
