About Mike

Mike attended both CCNY & UCONN & received a Bachelor of Science degree, with a Pre-Veterinary Major and credits toward a Masters Degree. A world renowned breeder of Great Danes since 1968 and former breeder of Show English Cocker Spaniels, Whippets, SharPei and Boxers. Mike is a professional Dog Show Handler and was a member of the “PHA” (Professional Handlers Association) from 1976-2014 . He is a conformation show dog evaluator/trainer, as well as obedience instructor.

About LuAnn

Born in Connecticut and raised in Franklin, her parents had show horses and bred Huskies and Siberians. She is a professional dog groomer, trainer, dog show handler and former breeder of top champion Cocker Spaniel, ShiTzu, Boxer, Miniature Pincher and Persian Cat show animals. LuAnn's love of animals led to our having dogs, cats, horses, fish, birds, lizards, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits and almost any other pet animal you can think of over the past 30+ years.

Our Goal

To provide the highest level of care for all animals. Our foremost concern is the comfort and the well-being of the pets that are entrusted to our care. Aware that most boarding facilities are built to cram as many dogs into as small a space as possible, Mike & LuAnn's concern is quality, not quantity ... Sheridane was built with the Great Dane dogs we breed here in mind. Two 180 Great Danes can be very comfortable, living together in one of our spacious kennel facilities.
